The NAD 542 would be great, thanks. It has a coaxial digital output that can drive the Lavry DA11, I bring the digital cable. I think people could be interested of the Lavry too as an headphone amp. A laptop with a USB output is also possible, but it is not always easy to know if the software configuration is good - bitperfect - and not too much jitter. A CDP feels safer.

I have packed a heavy trunk and will bring a Stax amp, HE60, O2, power cables and a power filter. It seems there is better synergy with the tube amp and Lavry so I bring the tube amp. In my main rig the solid state Stax 717 is better than the 007t tube amp. Stock tubes are exchanged for Raytheon (Japan).

Today's the big day... on my way in the train with my D10 --> ER-4's - my ears are looking forward to the PS-1000....

Heard the PS-1000, HF2, ER-4's, the stax 007 and HE60 on the 007 amp and many other interesting items must say that was very neat thing thought we missed Denon items.

IT was a great day indeed!

I will upload pictures during the next few days....

I am glad I saved 16000 DKK - the PS-1000 is removed from the wishlist.

Yes PS-1000 removed from wishlist (not that it was ever on it as it is open). They were the big disapointment of the day. The best word I can think of for their sound is vulgar. Overblown and all over the place. Also the finish would be bad for a $200 phone let alone a $1600 one but then this is a Grado so not so unexpected. The rig of the meet for me was Anders' HE60 running from his tube Stax driver driven balanced from a big Wadia player (don't know the model). This bettered the HD800 with Adrenaline cable running from a HeadAmp GS-X fed balanced from the same Wadia player. To me I'm also happy to say that my new Ed8 held it's ground nicely againt those 2 though not being able to beat them being probably one of the worlds best closed phones provided that your ears fit inside the small cups (have still not heard the Stax 4070 as the Danish Stax importer was unable to turn up in the end).

I have opened an new thread in the Meet Impressions forum.

nc8000, thanks for the help yesterday. Would be nice if you copy your impressions to a post in the new thread. Impressions become more visible to other Head-Fi members this way because they otherwise are mixed with a lot of planning and registering issues.
