Replacement for SE110 : UE700 ? X10 ? Q-Jays ? => X10 chosen, good deal on EBAY !! - Page 2

To my ears the highs are sweet.

I was playing a live Marcus Miller recording the other night, he can play a mean bas, and it was extremely good on the UE700. Played on lesser equipment I don’t even brother this music, is must sound good!, I don’t find the UE700 boring at all, you can easy separate the bas guitar from the drums, and you can easily hear the high hat, and people charring etc.

For me there where no adaption time, I took them on and was amazed from that second! I also like the cable much more on the UE700, thin and flexible. On the SE210 it is more stiff, and seams to have a sort of "memory" effect.

All that said, I do wonder, if I double the price once more will a have a lift in SQ similar to what I experienced from the SE210 to the UE700? I mean my cable between my cd-player and amp cost 3 times more than the UE700... my point being are am missing out on something, or to put in another way I regret I did not make this upgrade yeas ago having used that much money on my stereo set up.

Some say it's perfection, some say it's irritating...

Some say Q-jays can be a bit boring with rock music, and as UE700 is very similar to Q-jays so....

From SE210 to UE700 did you need "adaptation" time ?
