I don't know for sure, obviously, but I don't think our .gov would simply deport someone suspected of terrorism or supporting terrorism. Don't you think they would have detained him?

He renounced the 911 attacks and by all accounts he's a Pacifist.

I like his music. I will continue to listen to it.

Cat Stevens was (and maybe still is) a beautiful songwriter. I cherish his music, though I don't talk about it much. Teaser is my favorite album by him.........Like many others, I relate him to Nick Drake, both deep soft spoken British Folk artists.................

his conversion to Islam was a personal search for peace for him, and though I am not Islamic, I have nothing but respect for his choices.....if anything, I am glad he is Islamic because it is important to have figureheads which the Western World can relate to that can remind people that Muslim does NOT equal terrorist

His new album Roadsinger is very good albeit very short only 31 minutes comes with a DVD tha has Peacetrain Blues on it make it worth the price of admission. The Cat is Back.
