Is Head-Fi Slow/bugged for anyone else lately?

Most of the time (not all) when I try to post, it actually takes a very long for the page to update and when it does (almost a minute after I hit Submit) it'll come back with a message saying I must wait at least 30 seconds before I can post again .. so its trying to post twice.. for some reason

Likewise, opening some sub forums can also take quite a long time.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, and sometimes it times out.

Hopefully the HF-2 funding will soon put that to rest..

Yes. I don't think it's the browser, either. I've experienced it with both Firefox and Safari. Maybe traffic is up - not necessarily a bad thing.

Aye. Running opera behind my own private proxy server so it's definitely a site issue.

1 minute later, the site froze on me for a good 5 minutes... weird

We're well aware of the occasional slowness. It started when we made some system changes on 2009-07-29 0004 EDT, so that we could test some things. It should be fixed tonight or tomorrow.

I guess this is settled, then, but I've been getting bogged down real bad lately. I've considered the possibility of head-fi being under ddos attack or something, but I'm willing to settle for "system changes"
