What are half decent looking headphones doing here?

Those seashells look like they would have a large soundstage.

Don't dog on them man, no amp/dac/cables/or power needed. The most realistic sound of ocean possible. Ariel approves.

I just want to reiterate that only those headphones which are properly identified will be accepted. That means giving the brand and the model name. If I can still infer what it is, I'll accept it regardless, but to make things easier, please provide identification when posting them.

Just a note regarding homebrews or concepts: those headphones without proper model names/numbers will be ignored, and that obviously includes non-production headphones.

Also, remember that all headphone types are accepted, not just full-size or on-ear types.

Thanks, and keep the ugly coming!

Oh, no. They definitely beat the float. The float is not ugly, per se, it just looks funny as hell on a human head.

applaudio,

I just caught all pages of this hideous topic for the first time. I have nothing ugly to offer but thanks for the laughs.

(if anyone calls my avatar ugly, you die)

The Skullcandy's and the Swarovski Crystal design to me basically reek of the designers trying to find something that the 'average' 13-24 year old user would find 'cool' and 'bling'. In a sense, despite their supposed gaudiness, they are generic.

The other ones however, are interesting. Perhaps they are not beautiful in the conventional sense, but at least they are curious and different.
