New artists/albums recomendations

Hi

I hope there are some of you, alike me, craves for new music from time to time. My way of finding new music has been magazines, papers and the internet. I must say it's not that easy all the time, this is why I'm starting this thread. If you have found a new artist/album/song or any form of music that you would like to share, this can be the place.

I hope this thread won't die, I really do.

My recommendations for the day:
Jónsi & Alex - Riceboy Sleeps
Genre: Ambient

The Dead Wheater - Horehound
Genre: Rock
Comprised of Alison Mosshart (of The Kills and Discount), Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes)
This is what caught my attention. Similar to The White Stripes

I'm really liking "Up From Below" by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes. I bought it because I heard a track called, "Janglin'" on Sirius | XM. Turns out that there really isn't anything on the album that I don't like. Can't quite compare their sound to anybody else yet. Maybe with a few more listens... I also have heard several tracks from a Philadelphia guy named Kurt Vile on Sirius | XM. I downloaded several tracks from iTunes and they're great. Hard to get any CD's though. I heard that he just signed a deal with I believe it was Matador records. A definite "check it out!"

I think it was released a week ago or so. It's great. I just stare right in front of me when I listen to it. Not to recommend when doing recreation maths (is this last sentence correct English?)

I just picked up "The Sounds" Sounds crossing the Rubicon. It is like modern new wave. Rock with a keyboard. It is pretty good for new.

Just discovered Parov Stelar, Mocean Worker and Quantic. Exactly the type of sound I've been looking for for years. Mix of jazz, funk and electronica!

I loved, loved that album along with their last two. It has been slammed by a couple of influential U.S. indie sites, so it might be an uphill battle for it here.
