ALO modded ATH headphones

I was looking at the modded ATH 'phones and I thought they looked really cool
However, I couldn't find any reviews concerning the SQ5 or ESW9.
If anyone could shine some light on this I would greatly appreciate it!

I know I'm betting boo'd and hiss'd for this, but I think there's an error in the shop.

Audio-Technica ATH-SQ5ABK = $149

ALO Modified Audio Technica ATH-SQ5ABK = $150

That is one cheap upgrade!

Me too. It's worth it for the cable alone.

I think its a short 4.5 footer, we were thinking these would be for out and about use.

Just Ordered a Pair Yesterday, good thing I got in on this when I did, I knew it was a really good deal. As I've had My eyes on these for quite some time now & noticed the initial price drop ($210) a month or so ago. Then low and behold I checked again Yesterday ($150) & just had to pull the trigger on these. Just checked USPS Tracking, and they've left Portland, OR & are heading to Honolulu, HI already, should have em' in a couple of days. Sweet, Thanks Ken.

Yep, Honolulu to be exact. Hilo huh, how's everything over on the Big Island? Not much info as far as reviews are concerned. I'm not really a review-kind-of-guy, but will give My initial impressions prior to & after some extensive burn-in. Hope that helps, take care & good luck finding some nice cans.

Anyone have a chance to compare the stock esw9 to the ALO recabled one? Does ken do any internal mods to boot? (like germania's for instance.)
