SOLD- Klipsch Image X10 [Brand new, unopened warranty replacement]

Hi,

I have available for sale a brand new, factory sealed set of Klipsch Image X10s.

I had my set replaced under warranty- approximately 2-3 weeks ago (now, as this set have failed to sell as of yet, 5-6 weeks)- by Klipsch.co.uk/TNS, where I bought them from in January 09. As you are probably aware, this means that the warranty period is refreshed, ie the set you will aquire from me will have approximately 11 months warranty on them (Klipsch products are currently only covered for 1 year in the UK as standard (dependent on specific vendor/3rd party authorized dealer you buy from); though this is a relatively short warranty period, I have been informed by Amy of Klipsch, who frequents these forums as a Head-fi member/representative of Klipsch, that Klipsch.co.uk/TNS are looking into bolstering this period to match the 2 year coverage offered by Klipsch themslves; also, she has stated that, as consumer legislation is so strong in the UK, despite the stated vendor warranty period only being 1 year, ''defects that are present in the product from manufacture are covered up to 6 years from date of purchase''.)

Included in the package will be a set of Shure yellow foams, Shure medium olives and Comply T-100s (new and unused, of course). I never really got round to conducting much tips/fit experimentation with the X10s and so never used any of these tips with them, however, I believe Shure tips were compatible with the X10s from memory (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and I'll exclude these tips from the deal).

They will be shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery to destinations within the UK, which I will cover. I will consider international sale but will ask that the buyer covers shipping charges in excess of what I will outlay/would have outlayed for the domestic shipping service cited above.

I am asking for £140. Payment via PayPal or bank transfer welcome (please add appropriate PayPal fees on top if opting to pay via PayPal using a credit/debit card as funding source).

My feedback here at Head-fi can be viewed via the link in my signature.

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Steve

any price for US buyers?

Convert £150 to US dollars. I'm getting $247.38 from XE.com. I dunno how much new Image X10s are goin for on the US market currently but I imagine thats not a great price for Americans! Still, it's under what they are going for here in the UK...

I appreciate your input. However, where are you from? I'm from the UK and, having checked a fair part of the online marketplace for UK (I have come to know/are aware of; obviously, I may have forgotten to check a site or two, potentially, though not deliberately)- Amazon UK, Play.com (don't currently stock em), Advancedmp3players.co.uk (also don't currently stock this item), the mp3company.co.uk (stock but were out of stock when I last checked their site prior to finalising an asking price on my set for sale and posting up this thread), handheldaudio.co.uk (don't stock), mymemory.co.uk, hifiheadphones.co.uk, Ebay UK and/or international- my pricing, for a new, factory sealed set of Image X10s with pretty much full warranty on them, was competitive, if not below, marketplace value.

If you're from outside UK, appreciate that you are relative to another markeplace and, thus, another, independent marketplace value for this item. If that is the case then, yes, it's very feasible this price could be expensive/'overpriced' to you/in relation to the current marketplace value of this item in your native marketplace.

EDIT: If I've missed and/or was not aware of a UK based site that has these at a significantly cheaper price than I'm asking for here, of course, feel free to enlighten me and I'll happily revise my asking price.
