Thanks for the reply. It ain't ''too'' serious, and even though my long sessions infront of the PC I still take couple of breaks, so it seems it will be alright. :o

First post here....just thought I'd let y'all know the 700s are down to $30 on Amazon right now.  I grabbed em w/ free Prime shipping.  Really looking forward to hearing them.

Had these headphones for a while now and the more I listen I just can't believe they are $30!  Listened to a bit of Steely Dan on them yesterday and it just sounds amazing.  Definitely heard things clearly that I never really noticed previously.

The only negative is the size.  They are big!!  I just can't bring myself to bring them to work and deal w/ comments from co-workers.

The HARX700 was my first foray into full size headphones.

Used them for 2 years in college. They're great for general use; signature JVC boomy bass, decent midrange and recessed treble. Their only flaw is that the pleather earcups gets sweaty really quick. After a couple hours wearing them my ears always get hot, especially in the summer.

They're great at $35. Not much comes close to price and performance.
