Review: Lawton Audio LA7000 - Page 3

It's amazing this thread is still alive.

I have the D7000 and the D5000.  I would like to keep the cups and the Norse cable on them.  Can Lawton do everything else - mod wise to these headphones?

Fantastic review with many nice pics. The D7000s is really one of the most beautiful and classical headphones.

So, i see at finally the reviewer mentioned the Hd800s and the PS1000s, Can anybody tell me how the LA7000s stand against to the LCD-2s in term of sound quality. Thanks

well, IMHO, they are more comfortable, have better transparency and more realistic tonality, the sound is fuller and has greater presence.

Some of this is because the LA7000 are closed cans, not open. To my ears, there is greater solidity.

Finally!

I was looking for some info: should i upgrade my D2000 to complete lawton mod, or move to something else for the price?

I was considering changing phones, but with you guys saying LA7000 pretty much beats LCD-2...

Does LA2000 compare to LA7000 or are they weaker?

I love my LA7000 , has anyone compared them to the Fostex TH900?

I have been considering the TH900 , but if it's that similar to the LA7000 it would be redundant and not complimentary.

Though I have no idea cuz I have not listened to the Fostex.Originally I was focused on the LCD-3, but most of what I read tells me people prefer the Fostex
