Decisions, decisions...what speakers should i choose!

Hi!
I know, this is another "what speakers" but i can't make a decision for myself.
I have been using the creative SBS 580,which are 5.1 but i have used as a 2.1 system, through my emu 0202, but I'm tired and want more.

I hear a little bit of everything, since electronic,hip-hop,indie, post-rock,etc. If I want them to sound like something it would be my px100, they are a pleasure to listen.
I made a short list of the ones i'm interested and are easy to find in Portugal.
Probably the vs2421 don't sound good, but they are good looking, cheap and i can find them anywhere, but I'm afraid of their sound, they seem the type of speakers that will sound muddy or boomy, and i hate that.(I think i can start to take the Fx3022 out of the list).

Really? I heard some people saying nice things about them, I started to get really interested, but I think they are kinda fugly.

I have a set, they're terrible. I got them in a trade and they're secondary speakers for my old box.

I got:

JBL creatures
19" LCD monitor
600 watt psu

for an antec nine hundred I didn't want anymore. The monitor was the highlight naturally.

I see, thanks for the help, seems they will really go out of the window then. Any advice about what to get or other options to choose from?

Look elsewhere besides the pc speaker arena. They're all garbage.

I agree. If I was to purchase a pair of pc speakers it would be the Logitech Z2300s, but they are a bit heavy on the bass.

I would consider a set of studio monitors.
