I highly reccomend the Russ Andrews silver LOD. Nice construction and very clean sound.

Strangely, re trying my original LOD now sounds very good too. vranswer could be on to something...

Re the problems with LODs. The build quality of the Russ Andrews LOD is exceptional. The iBasso(?), less so. Mine was bought off ebay as a LOD with no mention of iBasso. Mine works fine, but the plastic cover around the connector has a furry edge. However, it could be a copy/fake. Or, iBasso but them from the same supplier as the ebay seller.
