Panasonic SL-S250

Thread Starter
I got a old Panasonic portable CD player recently for $1-a SL-S250.

It's from 1994 and unlike the later Panasonic models has 3 stage XBS with a high filter and MASH technology.

The sound quality is extremely nice with XBS set to the high filter position-with little noticeable distortion.

My SL-S250 was made in May 1994.

I have an SL-S160 that looks almost identical but built in nov. 1995, I bought it for a few bucks on ebay. It sounds great and is working flawlessly after several months. The lid broke at one of the rear hinges making it a little bit screwed up to open and close but that won't stop me from using it, cause it plays even my badly scratched cd's that won't play in the newer players I have.
