New Mark Knopfler album

The title for the new Mark Knopfler album is “Get Lucky” and will be worldwide released September 14, 2009. (Yay, same date as the new Porcupine Tree album.)

Yeah, I was thinking the same myself. Was looking for the DVD-A of this but it looks like just CD from now on.

Still, a new MK album is always welcome

Well the deluxe edition will be on vinyl as well so that may sound great.

I saw the STP tour and bought one of the limited edition (500) hand signed posters with his 6 or 7 guitars on it. It cost $75 and another $275 to put it in a beautiful custom frame.

unfortunately I don't have Vinyl playback capability (i.e a turntable LOL)

cool poster I imagine - take a pic!... I once had the Brothers in Arms full guitar poster

I am really, really enjoying Mark Knopfler's new record. Another strong release from him. His last 3 (including this one) have been outstanding records. Actually, his last 4 have been if you go back to 2002's "The Ragpicker's Dream".

And the CD sounds very, very good.

I made the mistake of having my copy sent to mom's house in Illinois, thinking I'd be there soon, but then had to cancel the trip. Maybe I'll have her forward all the junk that she's been collecting for me to Florida. I'll do anything to avoid custom's duty in Cayman, you know...
