Oh I agree, it's definitely doable. I just wanted to make sure that the OP didn't get the idea that it would be easy and quick. I've seen some folks on here get that idea and I wanted to make sure that didn't happen here.

That being said if you can dedicate a good bit of time and money, the beta22 is definitely a project that'll bring the great self-satisfaction of a DIY oroject along with some awesome amplification.

OP: $2,000 - $3,000 would be my guess at the price range, depending on the configuration.

Last year I was talking with a builder and we were at $1600 for balanced config with 1 sigma11. But we hadn't fully covered all possible inputs and outputs
I could see it easily see it being 1800-2000.

3000 seems high, but it's been at least a year since I calculated the prices.
Since then I've bought and sold a balanced Beta22. (Which I bought for $1200)

If I were you I'd scope the used market, because a lot of the time you'll find the price lower than even parts cost (as was the case with me).
