I just bought this speaker set for 50 bucks off Amazon, and it's been sounding amazing (to me at least). But as I've been pumping the volume a little more, I'm noticing a distinct rattling noise in the subwoofer around the port area. It's a bit noticeable even without your ear to the sub, and it mainly happens with very bassy songs (mostly hip-hop). The rattle is heard whenever the kick drum sets in, and it's just a slight rattle, it doesn't overpower the music itself.
I'm worried that I'm either overpowering the sub, or that there's something actually rattling inside the box (I can't open it up without voiding the warranty). My dad said it's normal to hear some bass distortion/rattling in cheaper systems like this one, but I'm still not sure. Anyone able to shed some light on this? If I didn't explain well enough, let me know.
