Zino comparisons?

I am looking at the Zino, Yuin G2A or G1A and the AT ES7. Strictly portable use out of a sansa fuze and my cell phone. I want more sound stage than earbuds and not iems.

Actually, what would be a good, tiny amp for these? It has a normal 1/8th jack.

Cheers and good day to ya'll from Big Lick.

The Zino doesn't need an amp. I haven't tried any of the mentioned alternatives, sorry.

I know they do not require an amp. Just interested in all possible combinations. THe Zino is really new too. Not in any hurry b/c I have PK3s but curious.

I'm curious about these too, esp. in comparison to HFI-15G. Which sound better unamped?

I definitely prefer the looks of the zino, but out in public I like going as unobtrusive as possible so I'd use my PK3s anyway. This would be more for portable use around the house, outside/backyard, etc.

I've read people say the 15Gs sound a lot better, but if they really need an amp to get as good SQ I'd rather just get the zinos.

I have the zinos I hate them. They are yours for shipping.

I own a pair of G2A to make a lighter alternative for my Proline 650.

I should admit I'm stunning by its transparency and its soundstage evertime I put them on my ears. There is a clear instrument separation and a very nice quiet space between them.

Where KSC75 used to be a must-have for me, there is a G2A for me now.
It can sound full right out of a portable device. However, if you want to add an amp to give him more power to boost your volume a bit, any amp will do the trick.

I have not tried the Zino but for a long time now I'm an Ultrasone lover and I would never give it away, even for a top line Grado. I love the signature (front soundstage, realistic mids, plain bass, listenable for 10 hours straight). Give it a try.

Otherwise G2A are real bargain.

I really like the Zino, but their sound signature isn't as easy to swallow as some other choices. It is really, really Ultrasone. I also have the G2A and the v-Jays, both of which provide more traditional listens than the Zino, if more compressed.

The Zino has a great detailed bass and treble, but a slightly sucked out midrange. Highs are good, but have a weird bloomy presentation. The Zino is supremely comfortable.
