Mahler's 5th, Vienna Phil & Bernstein

Just listened to Mahler's 5th on my K701/Sonett system. That was thrilling! The system handled the hugest brass dynamics with no sense of strain. With the help of the Cardas interconnect (I think that was the factor) the transparency into complex textures was very high. Tone color was brilliant and "saturated".

Late Bernstein Mahler is very nice indeed. If you get a chance, you should also hear the DSD remasters of his earlier NYPO Mahler cycle - very good sound and near-definitive performances!

This compilation is very good, there is some obvious choices but then some not so..(but then I realised that it was only DG, not Decca or Emi silly me)  If you go on the website you can see all the runners u too.
