I'll trade my 280 for something more portable! lol I never use my 280 anymore. It's collecting dust.

There is a list of 11 (found out in an epic contest!)

Sennheiser: PX100-II, HD428
Ultrasone: 15G, 650

Pioneer: SE-MJ5
Philips: The Stretch
Audio Technica: FC700, SQ5

AKG: Q460

not sure about the order though.

I've just found this great article! Thank you so much, it will help me to find the right cans. smily_headphones1.gif

BTW it's crazy how prices could be so different in EU vs USA! So value should be slightly modified for EU customers.

I currently have AKG K518DJ (EU version of K81DJ) I like it a lot but it hurts after 1 hour and I'm looking for something more comfy.

I received HT-21 from MEelec couple of months ago but I don't like it, sounds bad to me vs. K518 IMO.

I'll be in Las Vegas in May, I think I'll buy a Grado (here in France it is far too expensive! (SR60i= 100€/130$)) or Alessandro MS1 if I can find it.

Thanks again

The MDR V6 is added, cool. Did you check the vocals through the V6? I might be that my V6 could have been ageing but the vocals did not sound right to me.

JamesMcProgger, what about that list of yours?

Some vocals don't sound right with the V6 due to the dip around 200 Hz.

I used my mental superpowers to guess the headphones to come...

That was what I hinted at. Just one of its flaws but considering what it does well for the price it is pretty good on a budget. An 8 is a bit high though...

The suck is in the ear of the beholder...

I'm just saying this is one man's review. Read others, compare notes, agree/disagree, etc. If you're happy with them, don't change your opinion because someone else says so.

I'm on a similar situation like you, I live in Mexico and the prices here are terrible, I just bought a new AKG 518 LE and they cost me 1631 MXN pesos which is something like 130 dlls, which is really more that what you would pay on the US.

I'm a owner of a Alessandro MS1i and I love them, the only problem is that they leak too much sound and the cable is really long (like 2 m) and thick, so its not very portable, otherwise the sound is really lovely, they sound slightly better than the akg. BTW Alessandro ships intenationally free of cost.

Thanks Sinquito for the info about shipping.

I've just dropped an email to Alessandro to know what would be delivery time to France... I think I'll order it
