Me too, but Todd said there will be a small delay for a couple of days due to a shortage of parts but most phones should be shipped in the next four weeks. I'm guessing I'm in next week or the week after based on order numbers.

Me 2!

Except I don't feel like a sap because it was the right thing to do.

Mine arrived today, order number 5933, serial #337. No imperfections, and they play fine. I really like them. The new cable is weird. I like the older, thinner, less rubbery cable on my HF-1's, but otherwise the build quality is way, way better than it was on the HF-1's, no doubt. Another change is that the rails that the pads grip are wider than usual, which holds the pads more securely but stretches my flats out (I'm not going to use flats anyway, likely. These sound better with bowls).

Here's #348 shipped Friday, received Monday (If you live in the US and chose UPS you might consider changing to USPS Priority, these got to the east coast that quickly, Todd told me UPS would probably be 5 business days. I am so glad I ordered the jumbos as the bowls were very uncomfortable to me, they press against cartilage and cause pain after about 15 minutes. The cup finish on mine are close to perfect, there is some minor glue overflow where the drivers attach to the wood, so what - it's a hand built product and can't be seen with the ear pads. The thing that surprised me a little is how heavy they are. I do think the bass impact is slightly lessened and the highs more sibilant with the jumbos but I find the comfort necessary. I'm hoping the slight harshness in the high frequencies calms down with burn-in. Overall I'm quite happy with them. Thanks Todd for your great service and thanks John for a great headphone!

Nice to hear about the bagels...I had todd add a pair of bagels and a pair of flats with my order. The bagels will be for the HF-2s and the flats for my RS-1...always wanted to try the RS-1s with the flats, you know.

6106, I am wishfully thinking that >10% of the orders between mine and the last shipped pairs are not HF2s.

Im listening to HF2 now. I refrain from giving too large impressions till newtoy-syndrome settles a bit. But one thing that I like is the bass. It just just correct in amount! Something between bowls and flats with SR225. Midrange and treble is still being evaluated. But so far, no complains and they are a pleasure to listen, very different from SR225 yet still undeniably Grado.

Mine was 6131...I ordered mine a couple of hours after when Todd announced that there were less than 10 HF2s left to be ordered. So I'm thinking mine are in the 495-500 area.

I shined an LED flashlight in there and man it is really hard for me to focus my eyes on the wood through the mesh to see the texture but the color gives the impression of un-finished wood.

You seriously expect them to spend time finishing the wood on the inside of the cup that you can only see if you shine a flashlight in the cup?

people for RS1s made a question about it. The late friday RS1s are like it. I was just curious if it varied. I can see it just looking at the mesh. Thanks though
