Email from Todd's assistant today. Ordered June 4, shipping tomorrow. Still won't believe it till I see it. 11 weeks and counting.

Meanwhile grooving on my $35 JVC HA RX700's (that came in 3 days from NewEgg) at work with Sony XDRF1HD HD/FM radio via NuForce Mobile Icon. These cheap ass cans are amazing with the $100 Sony HD radio and $100 NuForce amp. Local college jazz station in HD sounds incredible with this rig.

Just received my shipping confirmation from Todd today:

Ordered: June 14
Shipped: August 20 via priority mail

Looks like my wait is coming to an end within a few days when my cans arrive. Can't wait to get them in my hands and on my ears.

I'm feelin' for you guys - mine took 11 weeks - and geez were they ever worth the wait. Whenever I sit back for a session with these, the tears well up, the feet start pounding the floor and fists banging away on my armchair. Listening now to 'Magic Bus' and me chest is a thumpin' - you're all in for a special treat.

I ordered after the first week in July, somewhere north of the #400 mark, and am expecting they'll be sent around mid-september.

I received my HF-2 #324 today. I was order #5903 placed on 6/10.

I'll leave detailed impressions up to others but so far I'm impressed.

HF2 and GS-1 combo here. Good bass. Wonderful midrange. Not a hint of harshness. Very happy.

Peanuthead, nice to hear the GS-1 amp pairs well with the hf-2....can't wait....this will be my rig...and I'll try the AE-1 and the SS mini millet.
