Agreed. I pre-ordered the individual discs I want, but I'll also order the box sets when they are available.

Depends on who posted the news... That's a pretty big claim.

Any chance of a link ?

EDIT :- Don't worry, I thought you meant it was on the Hoffman boards. Cheers

US pre-orders available here :-

BEATLES BOX SET OF REMASTERED CDS [1251] - $219.00 : The Fest for Beatles Fans, Mark Lapidos Productions, Ltd.

Stereo $219
Mono $269

EDIT: About $40 cheaper than the EU

I must be missing something, here. The stereo boxed set is the 14 albums, I believe? And just an extra box to put them in? If that's it, then why the high price tag?

I did the math on Amazon - if I pre-ordered all 14 albums separately, it would cost me US $197, with free shipping. I think I'll wait and see what Amazon offers for the boxed set, as I would have to think it should be the same (or less) than buying them separately. Unless there's something extra in the boxed set that I'm missing, of course. EDIT: I see that the link above will offer a free T-shirt with the boxed set, but I don't want to pay an extra $30 for that.

Beatles Fest is always overpriced.
