My graph (s/n 246xx) shows the bass rise and a moderate 6kHz hump.

As many others have said before, I find that the way it sounds depends hugely on the source material. A poor or bright recording will not do well (sibilance etc.) whereas a good recording will sounds simply stunning (sweetness and detail).

If I understand correctly, you guys obtain these curves from the Quality Department of Sennheiser, right? Are all HD 800s tested? Or just a selected percentage of units manufactured?

Hi everyone. Well as I posted earlier I have received both my HD800 & now the Frequency Chart.  If anybody can translate this for me I would certainly appreciate it. This is my 2nd pair & unlike my 1st pair which I had about 4 years ago, there is no sibilance problem.  Thanks.
