I am the original owner of the HD580s. I bought these a few years ago and they are in good shape. Since I have the HD800's, I no longer need these. If you are looking for the HD580/600/650 sound without the clamp, these are great. They are my most comfortable headphone.
I added the HD650 metal grills to them sometime in the past year. There is a tiny spot on the right grill where the paint has come off (see the picture below) but it is not very noticeable. I bought the cable from jcn3 in September of 2007. The cable is very light. It is in very good shape.
I would prefer to sell the cans and cable together at this point.
