FS: Hafler DH-101 Preamplifier (Mod Squad)

I have a classic preamp for sale.

The David Hafler DH-101

I bought this as pre power set and am going to keep my current preamp for a number of reasons over the Hafler. Mostly I prefer the remote control function and have a separate phono to do vinyl duties.

This particular unit is not stock and was modded by one of the "Mod Squad" who are famous amongst the collector/DIY forums. It works perfectly and has a good sound. Aesthetics are very good, 8-9/10 on the Agonscale.

I figured its value must be around $150 based on a crude 1/3 2/3 value distribution and how this auction turned out today on an unmodded unit. I would like to get $125 plus shipping for this, pm me if your interested.

Damn tempting Yogi. I had forgotten that I used to own one of these. It was the pushbuttons that I fell in love with when I first got mine. I am in the market for a preamp again, but am looking passive this go-round. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

It is a classic and not to mention that it has a very good phono stage too.
Best of luck in finding your passive and let me know if you change your mind,it would be nice for her to find a home with someone who appreciates her.
