awesome buyer. quick to reply, easy to communicate with, and friendly. he's also one of those great people who don't just keep quiet for the transaction. because of that, both parties are on the same page. i'll definitely sell or buy something from him again if fate leads me back to him. so yeah, highly recommended.

Great seller even I did not buy his K701. I paid for the headphones and it was my fault for not finding out what I am getting, he refunded without any questions.

Really great person to deal with, great communications. I would definitely buy from him again.

A very pleasant transaction with hvu. Sold him an HD580 with a damaged driver. He paid quickly and maintained excellent communication. I would not hesitate to deal with him in the future.

I bought a TU-882AS from hvu. The sale started out as an IC, and I'm afraid my original offer was kind of a lowball (which I'd have realized had I read the post correctly)...not only did he not dismiss me offhand, but he courteously responded with a very attractive counteroffer, and included some nice tubes to make it even more attractive. He shipped amazingly quickly (within the hour!), was remarkably communicative and helpful, and I just couldn't believe how well he packed the amp. He even included the original documentation & instructions from the pre-populated kit, all neat in their original plastic slip, which was a great touch I didn't expect.

When I had some minor (and, it turns out, unfounded) concerns about the amp after I got it, he kept in contact and made sure everything was all right.

I would not hesitate to buy from him again. Great head-fi'er.

What a quantum leap in sq experience!  I am thrilled with the joy of consuming the entire spectrum of sound through your modded D10.  I was truly hesitant at first, but, through a rigorous read-through of the forums, I trusted the literature/forum search that was used to decide on the mods for the amp.  My W3's sing in rapturous bliss listening to Blank & Jones, Santana, Diana Krall, Bob Dylan, Tiesto, Pink Floyd and Metallica!  Airy, open, full, rounded and crisp all serve to describe the experience of listening to music through the amp.  i have a primitive recording of a conversation in the Grand Canyon that was archived with a radio shack microphone and portable cassette recorder several decades ago that comes alive! 

 

If anyone who reads this is looking for feedback regarding the representation of items for sale and quality of product, look no further.  Trust that what you are evaluating performs to a standard that inspires confidence.  The mod specs reflect an inherent understanding of electronics and integrity of installation that is audiophile quality!
