I just bought a 13" MacBook Pro, and I'm looking to get the best speakers I can. I listen to music constantly on my laptop, and I am beginning to develop an ear for the finer details in music. That said, I do watch TV and movies on my computer, so I'd like speakers that do a good job with those sounds also. As of now, I have Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers, but I'm wondering if I can do maybe a bit better, as these are getting old and the volume knob on the speaker is starting to become faulty. My budget is probably around $250 or so. I'm not sure if it helps, but I listen to mostly Alternative and British Rock, like Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Spoon, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, etc.
