cold steel kukri and 10-gauge... also, a suzuki samuri is helpful because it does NOT stop for anything smaller than a mammoth.

Joking aside, I'm reading World War Z and am loving it. Is Max Brooks handbook a good companion?

Back to protection. I got nada. I should step it up and save for an AR-15 or something lol.

Yes, i do believe the handbook could be called a "companion" to WWZ. I'm not so sure what you would call it, but its a really great read! Also, it shows the best things to use in the event of any zombie confrontation. It says the best gun to use is a M1 semiautomatic rifle to dispatch your undead attacker. And a machete. And a katana. And a shaolin spade. Real useful information

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. For some reason, that's a real book. I bought a copy, and it is eight shades of fail. Good for conversation, bad for entertainment. Absolutely useless for a zombie plan...

See signature.

The thing with zombies is that you need to have a different plan for each place that you spend a lot of time and for each type of zombie (slow vs. fast, dumb vs. intelligent).

And for all of you who read this thread and think that zombies are a completely made up threat, I have one word for you: Rabies. If rabies didn't kill its hosts, they would be damn close to zombies. It is a virus that infects a host and basically forces the host to pass along the virus by attacking other mammals. Yeah.

Quite the contrary actually. In Diablo II, blunt weapons deal 150% damage to undead, so in the Blizzard North team's opinion, they are more effective than anything else
