iPhone cable?

I just purchased an iPhone 3GS, so I was looking to see if there was an SA6 cable with microphone.

I found something on SoundEarphones (SoundEarphones.com Your Earphone Source - Shop - Sleek Audio Iphone Cable W Mic) but there doesn’t seem to be much available information; I couldn’t even find it on Sleek Audio’s website.

Has anyone tried this cable before? If a pre-made cable isn't available, do you think it would it be possible to make a good DIY cable with microphone? (Note: I have no experience with DIY cables)

I have this

I have this cable. It works just fine. It only has the ability to play, pause, skip, go back and of course answer and hang up calls. (everything that the old iphone cable could do) and this does work with voice control. I did email Sleek to ask them about an updated cable that would include the volume controls for the new iPhone and they said they were working on one but couldn't tell me when it would be available. Only to expect a big announcement. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
