Full-Sized Marshmallow Mod (Comfort mod)... Potential 56k killer

Okay. So I was talking to mojoEmo on AIM and after a long conversation, I all of a sudden came up with a great idea. I marshmallow-based mod. In this DIY trial, I managed to make my K141's more comfortable, and since the elastics are stretched, they no longer droop past my ears (I'm 14, so my head is smaller than average). All this is at the expense of ~1.5 cubic feet of plastic wrap, and 3-5 marshmallows. During the course of this mod, your headphone will NOT be exposed to any sort of risk (Unless you're ESPECIALLY GOOD at messing up ).

EDIT: There's a huge chance the marshmallows will become stale. I'll keep you guys posted if it does.

Okay. So lets get started...

STEP 1: Get your cans you plan to mod.

STEP 2: Get some marshmallows. Normal sized only... No fun swirls and all that pointless crap.

STEP 3: Get a plate (styrofoam FTW!) and a metal knife

STEP 4: Put a couple marshmallows on the plate (I used 4 for the AKG's)

STEP 5: Slice them in half on the thinner side.

STEP 6: Slice a (circumfrence of your headband)" by 12" piece of plastic wrap (AKG's = 4", but you might want to cut a tiny bit more)

STEP 7: Wrap it around the headband of your headphone as tight and neatly as possibly. You don't want to have ugly headphones right ?

STEP 8: Attach the flat side of the marshmallows to the newly covered headband.

STEP 9: Slice another bit of plastic wrap. This time make it ~ 1" longer than the other. Remember - excess plastic wrap is OK. You might want to roll it off to the edge to give it a nicer look though.

STEP 10: Wrap the bigger piece of plastic wrap around the headband. You don't want marshmallow in your hair now, do you?

Sorry it's not the full 12 steps, but it was worth a shot.

I thought that it would be Marshmallow IEM drivers in a donor housing. Very original, to say the least. Thanks for sharing!

I thought people would say it so I put Full-Sized in the title. I guess that's a little misleading. Thanks for the compliment.

Haha. Thanks. I wonder if anybody tried this. BTW - Marshmallows didn't harden yet.

Ha anyone tried rolling the marshmallows, replacing with DIY marshmallows though, for the ultimate experience?

How about 99.99999867% pure gold marshmallows?

Made using rhodium egg beaters and cooked in a silver plated copper baking tray.

You do realize that the bump design of the K701 has gotten a lot of complains, do you?
