JVC FS-7000 Mini Stereo System

Hello,
I have a JVC FS-7000 Mini Stereo System.
I hooked up my Samsung Instinct Phone to the JVC through the AUX inputs.
The sound is horrible!
The same music on the CD that I downloaded from sounds great.
Well, for a mini system.
Is there anything (amp, etc...) that I can put between the phone and the JVC to boost the signal?
Or is the phone just a piece of poop.

I have an FS1000 system, and the stereo unit looks the same. The sound improves 100 times when I hook up my TC7520 DAC through optical.

EDIT: Whoops, didn't understand your question. Yeah, the phone will suck no matter what.

Bummer!
I guess I will just play CD’s.
This little system is awesome for its size, BTW.
I always get complements on the sound.
