AKG K702 Beresford 7520????

Hi all
I have only recently joind this community and this is my first post.
I have been messing around with Hifi for years and only now am I getting my first pair of headphones.
I have a pair of AKG K702 on their way to me from the U.S. and I only have a Beresford 7520 to drive them with.
My track record is not good with keeping hold of things that don't sound great so I am concerned that the Beresford will not make the 702 sing and I will get quickly bored.

Does anyone have any experience of this combo?

Also I wouold like any recomendations on affordable amps that will REALLY do the phones justice.

If anyone is selling a used amp I could be interested.

Forgive my ignorance, I am aware of some cafuffle around the Beresford brand but other than that I am unsure what you mean.

After reading a few of the other threads I see what you are getting at.
I can assure you I have no connection other than having purchased the dac.
I don't mind if we dont talk about the 7520 but a little advice on a suitable amp would be good.
I must admit I use a lot of forums and I have never come across anything like this strange situation.

I don't think the TC7520 headphone out is the optimal solution fot the K702's. They are power greedy headphones if you want them sound with solid bass and authority.

Any suggestions that will do them justice?
I prefer warmth, and cheap....lol
