Nice. I forgot about this project. How does the rest of the album sound? I remember when Neurosis was Crust Punk so its a bit surprising to hear a mellow side to them here.

Sorry about the delay.

To put it simple, I think it's marvellous.

It's a good balance between a rather industrial neurosis, with heavy drums, distorted guitars and other noise/drone, and Jarboe shifting between recitation and chanting/singing.
At times I find her/it positively sinister sounding, very good.
I find the opening track (Within) particularly gripping, with Jarboe repeating "I tell ya, If God wants to take me, He will" over and over, with a short break of singing, and then go on with hyperventilating for well over a minute straight.
Vocals are predominantly by Jarboe, which I also find to be a good thing.

sorry, but what the ****,lacuna coil are not classified as goth anywhere, except by ignorant idiots that don't actualy know what a genre is, or by people that use wiki as thier bible of knowledge, lacuna coil are like evanescence and within temptation, melodic rock bands, with a tinge of metal, but have nothing to do with goth what so ever. not a dig at you personally. by the way. this kind of thing just pisses me off
