Yes. I suspect the Denon's go well with the HeadRoom amps.
I have the Ultra Micro Stack and am having a great time here with the Denon AH-D5000's.

Nice review indeed.
On the weekend I may just plug the D5000's into my iMac's headphone output and see what it sounds like.
The reviews author is likely correct that enjoyment of these Denon headphones requires decent amplification.
My ears can't agree with a lot of the negative sentiments concerning the Denons that I've been reading.... leading to the need for Markl modifying etc.
