First impression by average_joe:
Clicky

that doesn't sacrifice IE8's resolution/treble/bass/etc.

This tip combination will give you a lot more out-head experience.
But, if the following 3 criteria are important to you, ignore this thread:

Isolation
Wear outside (especially for exercise, shopping, where people can see you)
Sleep with

Can you ignore this tip combination's lack of the above 3 property?
Yes?

What you will build is unlike any other tip combination ever floated on
the internet, nor will you hear this kind of soundstage with your IE8
even properly amped, DACed and sourced.

The reason WHY you really really don't want to go outside with these
is because:

People will stare at you as if you wore AKG 1000K.

But it's very comfy (thanks to the Sony Hybrids) and best of
all YOU CAN SMILE WITHOUT LOSING YOUR SEAL

Trust me, when you have finished this project and put your
result to the test, you will be smiling.
Alot.

Video Instructions:

Recorded by a pocket camera, so reference the pictures I took.

Combining tips:
+ YouTube Video

Fit (reference ONLY):
+ YouTube Video

Materials and Preparation:

Inverted means they are flipped inside out.

You can use any size combinatoins that you prefer, as long as the single
flange on top is bigger than the one on the bottom.

You don't have to add sony hybrids if you don't
have them, but they add that last bit of bass/warmth/seal/comfort
and make this tip combination truly "complete"

Procedures: (Let the pictures explain themselves)

The finished product:

Really push them together, they need to have the bond in
order for the combination to hold up.
If it's still too lose, invert the smaller single flange as well
and try again.

If you look from the front you should see clearly,
if not, redo it.

Comments:

I was disappointed by the lack of impressions from my last tip thread. (click on the second link in my signature)
I still prefer the slightly better transparency, sense of air, and portability.
I can wear them outside and still enjoy the music better.

But this combination beat it in every other area.

You should hear an increase in the soundstage anywhere from 1/10 to 1/3,
very dependent on the recording. Some might not like a bigger soundstage
for particular genres, but try them again with this. You may find yourself
changing your mind.

Lastly, I truly hope hi-end custom owners give this a try, I doubt doubt doubt
you can hear an even better soundstage.

Remember, you can put this tip on any other IEM with nozzles similar to IE8's.
I don't have anything else to play with, but for those who own multiple flagship IEMs,
I really want to hear from y'all if this tip improve sound on IEMs other than
IE8.

This may be bad for your heart, I'm really feeling the vibration from electronic guitars and
pianos, maybe even a bit uncomfortable.

DON'T USE THESE if you intend on watching a horror film, playing horror games, listening
to creepy techno...
You could be scared ****less, not joking.

Here's my impression to your new tip thread:
My vision is not that bad and what you have to say is not that important.

Would font 5 suffice?

And no, this is not a joke, I can even hear the freaking difference in my well-abused
Sansa m240 1GB, even feel the vibration from that... goosebumps

Apologies for misusing the font, I don't "shout" usually.

I doubt I have the "responsibility" to post things like this here if not for the
spirit of sharing.
If you don't care, why reply?

Beleive me, I would not have replied at all if you hadn't screamed in my face. Save some of your enthusiasm for future inventions.

I doubt I need my enthusiasm anymore.
This tip is IT, I would shout from the depth of my heart if a better tip combination is found. Variations differ from person to person though,
