Glad to hear the mids are more forward on the PS-1000. I thought that was the GS-1000's greatest problem. Are the PS-1000's ver amp dependent? Do they sound quite different plugged into something other than your 4k amp? I mean does the balance change much?

So far I have only connected the PS 1000 to the EAR HP 4. The only other amps I have hanging around are some portable ones, the RSA HR2 and the MPX 3 Slam. I will try and use something else and let you know. The sound out of the EAR is so good, I just have had the motivation to try anything else.

I think it is better to ask John Grado or Todd from TTVJ directly.since many people here have been waiting for this can. for a long time.
