Electro Pop, any suggestions

Well if anyone likes these sort of genres, not all of the below are from that genre... but I've found 90% of electronic music what I listen to is Electro Pop or French House or maybe just House... I dunno. Was wondering if there were any artists to recommend. I like:

Cut Copy
Van She
Van She Technologic
Bag Raiders
Knightlife
Muscles
Midnight Juggernauts
Breakbot
Pnau
Roisin Murphy
Ladyhawke
Robyn
Moulinex
Xinobi
Daft Punk
Passion Pit
Neon Neon
Empire of the Sun
Justice
Phoenix
The Presets
Sneaky Sound System
Ted & Francis
Cheateau Marmont

These artists are okay, I like a few of their songs:

La Roux
Goldfrapp
Sebastien
Kavinsky
Sebastien Tellier
Ettiene de Crecy
Crystal Castles
Cassius
Modjo
Dave Armstrong
DJ Falcon

Well yeah by no means a definitive list but if anyone wants to throw some names around be my guest... feel free to discuss the genre/s. I get confused with all the genres as there's a lot of 'electronic' stuff out these days that's got a bit of rock/pop thrown in and they all seem to blend it with some other genre making some sub-sub-genre that's also blended with some other obscure genre.

Try:

Colourbox
Dragonette - EXCELLENT GROUP. Some their stuff is a little too poppy for me but the rest is great.

I think we should be inquiring of splaz after that list. There are a couple there I haven't even heard of. It goes to show just how much of the stuff there is out there, because it's cheap and easy to produce.

Here are some good albums I would recommend after that:

Alice in Videoland - She's a Machine - Swedish hi nrg electro-pop
Ayria - Hearts for Bullets - Gothtro
Chromatics - Night Drive - Italo
Client - City - austere female clasher group
Kelley Polar - I Need You to Hold on While the Sky is Falling - Space Disco
Little Compture People - Electro Pop - umm yeah, self explanatory
Telepathe - Dance Mother - New Wave inspired Art Pop New Yorkers
Vive la Fete - Nuit Blanche - Dutch clahers
White Rose Movement - Kick - UK glam
Yelle - Pop Up - French Popster

I'll stop at ten.

Viro-no IAMX?
Thats hands down the best rec youve ever given me.

Poster-get urself some IAMX; id start with his first "Kiss and Swallow".
IAMX is Chris Corner and he's incredibly talented. (originally from Sneaker Pimps).

Maybe some Anthony Rother too??

I know, good call; should of inserted that instead of Ayria. Op might not like darkwavish stuff on second read. Conversationally, Anthony Rother was a member of Little Computer People.

Well the usual method to my madness is for music I like look for connections to other bands, if someone has produced/featured in/supported on tour/remixed/on the same label as something I like, I'll check them out. But I wanted some suggestions completely new... which is good because I haven't heard much of those suggestions.

I have to agree... especially if you take into account all those artists that are unsigned and just putting out obscure self releases...

I have to say, my recommendation at the moment is Van She - Ze Vemixes which has just been released and really shows off their remixing talent on their own work. I feel it's a bit too repetitive in a clubby way at times... but they usually keep it pretty fresh. A few moments there had me thinking back to Discovery which is what originally got me into this sort of genre... so put a smile on my face.

While I love ed banger, uffie makes my ears bleed.

Very good list you've compiled though.

One addition: digitalism, simian mobile disco (listen to the album Attack Sustain Decay Release
Those two are definitely electro house; I don't know what the barrier b/w electro house and electro pop is though.

Australia is a friggin' goldmine for electro-pop, neck and neck with France. You're a lucky bastage.

Yeah but I'm in the west... those bloody easterners usually can't be bothered coming this way...

Thanks everyone for suggestions so far, some are proving a bit elusive to find... will post what I think when I've had a proper listen.

Some suggestions from me, not stricly Electro Pop but also Nu Disco, Electro or Electro House...

Damn Arms
