Congratulations Brooko on the DT880 / T1 featured article!

We are going to miss you around these hallowed halls now that you've gone T1. wink.gif

Thanks mate.  DT880 not quite gone yet (thinking about keeping them for a work rig).  Anyway - I'll still definitely remain subbed to this thread. Been a contributor too long to it now to stop wink.gif

I'm with Brooko!!! While I moved on to a flagship (Alpha Dog) the DT880s still remain my gaming headphones and comfort choice when it is too hot out and I do not want to overheat. The DT880s are still and will always be a fantastic deal. They are better for listening to music at lower volumes than my Alpha Dogs are but the highs get more strident when I want to play music louder. They are still very neutral headphones and have less "body" than the Alpha Dogs but give the impression that they are much faster sounding headphones when it comes to treble

Yes, it's good to slum occasionally with the more fiscally restricted types and their $200 headphones. Maintains one's perspective. :D
