Just to soothe your buyer remorse a little, both Tyll Hertsen and 'David Mahler' of the 57 headphones thread have said they don't hear a huge difference. In fact Tyll Hertsen went so far as to say the difference could be 'placebo'.

There, isn't that better? Now you can go and spend that $100 on iTunes downloads.  tongue.gif

Thank you, pp!

I was in a pawn shop today trying to sell a watch, and I found a pair of these sitting all alone in a corner. When I asked how much, my jaw dropped at the quote he gave me.

Now I'm here in the dark listening to my $45 DT 880s biggrin.gif

Btw, you guys know how to tell the 32 and 250 ohm models apart? Mine doesn't have the 600 ohm marking on the plug, but I have to max out my iPhone to get a decent volume.

The 250 ohm doesn't have anything printed on the plug.

Great condition. I rinsed the pads with warm soapy water and wiped down the body with isoprop alcohol. I'd give it 8/10.

How do I take the pads off? I need to do this!

Just reach on the inside of the cup, and pull on the pads gently. The black ring around the edge of the cup is part of the pad.

Side note: I just fired up Regina Spektor's "The Party." I have a huge sheep grin on my face.

Should I go for the Audioengine D1, Hifiman EF2A or the Schiit MangiModi as an amp for the DT880's 600Ohm? Btw what is the major difference between the 250Ohm and the 600Ohm?
