i would like to have mine recabled as well, but no such services are here nor do i know anybody who can do it.

You can do it. It's not hard at all.

I dont like the idea recabling it myself.

i just pulled the trigger on a DT880/600 recabled by whiplash audio!! cant wait.

nice!

Expecting photos, documentation of recabling and first impressions :-)

well i have no experience with a stock one, but ill be sure to leave brief thoughts! thanks!

I got mine re-cabled at ZXAC: http://www.zombie-x.com/zxamateurcablesrev2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=66

I also hate to ship my phone out for recabling and was delayed it until I got another already recabled DT880 with mogami wire.  Then I sent out mine immediately since the improvement is significant.

ZX did great job and his price is very reasonable.  A great headfier to deal with.

well, i would love to have it recabled either by zombie or elsewhere.

But just that i am located in EU and ship it over half of the world, too expensive shipping, too long delivery etc. etc....

That's my beef too. shipping them out - I gotta find someone in Taiwan I can take them too...and buy and the wire and ship it here first..

I think these awesome headphones desire some more photos.

Enjoy!

Hello friend :-)

I am glad you like pics.

My sec. hobby is photo (oh god, how bad, two expensive hobbies for student...i am sparing every € i can get)

These were taken using Nikon D5000 with Macro lens, that's why i was able to get nice close-ups. :)
