Aww... seriously, though, I think it just got a pretty fierce competitor.

 

You'll get to hear it all at the meet anyway. I'm bringing the E12 along, and I'm sure we'll be able to grab an O2 and a DT880 lying around randomly...

I do believe the ODAC/O2 combo is very good, but when it comes to synergy, I prefer the original Dacport to brought up the mids and the bass.

I was under the impression that the DACport (and DACmini) were both transparent? Are you saying the DACport actually distorts audio by emphasizing mids and bass?

The Dacport have a different soudsign than the Dacmini, the Dacport is abit warm on the mids and the bass while the Dacmini is more balance, and the Dacmini is more transparent than the Dacport due to a better DAC section on the Dacmini
