Gotcha, not the largest difference though.. Well, the "600" ohms arrived. They were actually 32 ohms though. I made good though, the pads on the ones that just arrived were newer, took them off and put them on my 250 ohms, now I have new pads and the 32's are going back

What's the output impedance on the HA-160D?

Do I need the 600 ohms guys? Becuase I'm sending my 250's in for wood cups, but should I delay that till I can get a 600 and send those in?

You might as well wait. Based on manufacturing variances and the way higher ohm headphones can react differently to some amps, you might want to wait to see which one you like the most and want to add the wood cups to.

Well, I could be getting 600 ohms. I looked on FS and found some for $210!! Thats super low. I may just have him send them to MCA.

According to their specifications, 5.6 Ohm for the headphone out.

I didn't get to measure the HA-160D we listened to, though, as it's not mine. But I measured my O2, and it read something like 0.6 Ohm.

My advice? No, you don't need the 600 Ohm. Stick with 250 Ohm. It's much easier to drive.

Looks like I should have Googled rather than relying on memory. As for being outed, I suspect history isn't a strong point around the Head-Fi forums.

The Elephants? Postage to Australia could be rather high.
