I already bought NuForce HDP as DAC. Now I'm thinking to add tube amp that can produce warm sound to 880.

Ahhh i c, anyway either it's a ss or a tube amp, i'm pretty sure you will enjoy your DT880 with it

The NFB12 is a really good starter solid-state option that combines a good dac and powerful amp.  It's also a lot cheaper than the Nuforce.  That'll be all you need for a start with the Beyers.  Then you can add a tube amp of choice later - whilst still utilising the NFB-12's DAC.

BTW - are you OK with DIY?  You realise the Bottlehead is a kit right?

If you do go the Little Dot route - the money you save on the Audio-gd, you could upgrade to the LD MKIV.

DV/Lafigaro 336 , despite i am not a huge fan of tube amps tryed it at a friend house and it was not bad at all and it'as the "typical" tube amp aka warm sound , smoothed highs , bass and mids more bodied ,  not all tube amps will sound like that , some could be cold as some SS amps and vice versa .

And it seams that many here are happy with their 336 + DT-880-600 ohms

NFB 12.1 only support 24bit/96Khz. I have some flac files from HDTracks, which 24bit/192Khz that I would like to hear.

Where's the best place to order 336c btw? Is it Yu Qin Audio?

Or should I just try it without additional amp first? I remember you mentioned earlier that my HDP should be sufficient enough to drive 880?

Actually the NFB 12.1 supports 24/192 over both coax and optical.  USB is only 24/96.  The Nuforce Icon is the same AFAIK (24/96 over USB, 24/192 over coax).

BTW - haven't heard the La Figaro/DV - but can advise the LD MK IV/MK IV SE is pretty good with the Beyers.  That'll give you another option.

hum yes "http://www.yuking09.com/" should be the best place to order the 336c but if any one as a better idea ...

I said that HDP had an headphone out i didn't tryed it , but you could first try HDP hp out , even if it's not exactly what you are exepting at least it would not be that bad and enough to have an idea of DT-880 , and if you feel the need go for a tube amp , first enjoy your DT-880 with HDP , and after if needed enjoy another taste / upgrade with tube amp peraphs the best way , but you could directly but a tube amp if you realy want , just do what seams better to you 

And peraphs start with NFB-12 as mentionned by Brooko , there is no perfect choice soo , if you can cancel HDP , it could be a more economical choice i had A-GD stuff in past and they worked great .

Sniped a Grant TubeDac11 on ebay for $250 shipped, saved myself $100 and I'll post up results in a week or two.
If I don't notice a huge difference (not sure what to expect) it may end up for sale at the same awesome price again.

What would be a good DAC and Amp pairing for the DT 880 600 ohm, I'm going to be using Spdif Outpute as well <3

La Figaro 339 + DAC that suite your needs . (AMP is most important IMO) .

Note : i am not huge fan of Tubes amps but tryed at friend homes a 336 C and it was not bad at all specially with Beyer 600 ohms . So if you want something cheaper 336 could be a good match for your tube will .
