Who gets stuff from dealextreme?

They seem to have some really nice stuff. I got a Fiio E5 from there.
Saw that remote control as small as a keychain...

I too got my E5 from there, no problems.

I bought from DX about 5~6 times now. They always have those little inexpensive things I want to pick up

Yeah bought from them. Had problems with a defective E5, they gave a new one after a 1.5 months. It was a bit of a hassle but ok. Have bought from them other stuff. One came DOA, but they immediately sent a new one without needing to return my DOA and it arrived in a week.

The only thing I didn't like is that my E5 hisses a lot. It does work good but hisses a bit less than the E3 :/

Got my e3, e5, an ipod dock and some other small items from them. No problems so far

That reminds me. I just found a usps delivery slip in my mailbox for dealextreme from the 8th. I should go pick up my stuff. I previously bought a Dingoo from there. They carries a lot of nifty cheap stuff.

I order from DX every now and then. I just hate when something turns out to be nowhere near 'in stock' and they end up waiting on a supplier for a week or more.

So, it turns out that it doesn't pay at all to order a bunch of stuff at once. Works better to order a few things at a time.

I order nickle-and-dime things from them, things like LED keychain lights and uSD card readers.

I've also been impressed with some of the flashlights you can buy on there...aluminum tac-lights with the very latest LEDs for less than $20, often. Flashlights that make my Surefire E2 feel like using my cell-phone light.

The only expensive thing I tried to buy was a $30 electronic kitchen scale. It never showed up, and it's been 4 months or so now. Kind of soured me on them but what probably happened is it got stopped in customs and since I don't think DX declares things, just sends them through and hopes for the best, it's probably sitting on some custom's officer's kitchen counter.

I won't order from them again.

I bought some small video pens (flash based with tiny cameras in them). one broke in my hands in the first minute or two. the other had software bugs that meant I could not control the thing (turn it off) and had to wait for its battery to die (!) before I could re-init it.

ok, fine. cheap gear. kinda knew that, I guess.

the pita was the return process. they're behind the great firewall of china and they can't see all your photos - yet they insist on YOU taking photos of broken gear before they give an rma. I posted photos to flicker - they couldn't 'see' them. I posted to my private toplevel domain site and they couldn't see that, either.

too much hassle. poor communications and poor cust service. not at all worth the hassle for such cheaply made goods that never worked.

^use imageshack...

Terrymx, how did the dingoo come? My brother bought a¡one and it has been shipped, so wondering already ^^

no, I won't use some spammy image hoster when I have 2 perfectly good ones that are just fine.

"we can't see your host" is the lamest thing I've heard in a long time. you want to do business with the west? then take down that damned firewall! sheesh.

too many hurdles dealing with .cn. its often just not worth the hassle.

ordered a few things from there, never the quickest delivery but cheap as buggery and not bad for the price of the stuff.
Yep, got my E3/E5 and some misc. pc crap and novelties from them. Deliery is 2 weeks at the least, but reliable.

They have the cheapest stuff every. It's great. It just takes a while for the free shipping.

I bought a fan controller there which seems to work pretty well for the price I payed.

It is a very legitimate reason and it is not the fault of DX. Not to go into the political side of the argument, but Chinese government requires all their ISP to filter out certain domains and I.P. ranges. There is nothing the user can do about it. For example, blogger (and the servers that host it) is entirely blocked.
