What Live concerts have you attended? - Page 20

Hmmm... since last visiting this thread I've seen quite a few few bands. To my last list, I add:

Finntroll
Nightwish, with Paradise Lost
Sonata Arctica, with Oakhelm, Lost Empire and some other band who obviously wasn't that memorable
Symphony X, with Epica and Into Eternity

And possibly the best show ever: Paganfest 2008 in Portland: Oakhelm, Suidakra, Eluveitie, Týr, Turisas and Ensiferum. That was just last Tuesday. I'm still awestruck.

I was going to participate but you sir are my hero. Reviewing your link is like going through my music collection. Same era.

I was part of a bunch of swabs renting a home in SD in 75-78. Concerts and bar bands in So Cal were social events of weekends for a bunch of rock music whores. LA was close and the local music was really good. It was my best memories for major concert activities. Now, a hand full of shows a year are standard.

I had kept most of my concert stubs when I got out of service. They were in my glove box and the car was totaled. I forgot to gather them until watching the car getting towed down the highway. I was going to put them under glass in a coffee table. I had a good 80-90. To see three name bands for $12.50 to $15 was sweet.

April Wine
Neil Young
Wilco
Bob Dylan
Motley Crue
Alice Cooper

These are some of the bigger names I've seen in the last 10 years but there's been countless lesser name bands that I've seen in bars and smaller venues.

That's a great idea! Mind if I steal it? I've managed to save many of my old concert tickets, and my coffee table has a glass top.
