Roll call: Indians staying in India, interested in high end headphones/IEMS - Page 14

post #196 of 4064

My HE-500 with Audio-gd 11.32 which is a loaner. Nothing much to complain about the sq, but I'm considering another DAC/Amp maybe Bifrost/Lyr. Most probably after taking care of my HP inventory.

My friend last week ordered Matrix M-stage hpa-2 from tam audio. Most products from them are free shipping to India. The seller is very active and well respected here for prompt response. Check it out. Matrix New Mini-I is interesting considering $379 for balanced DAC/Amp combo.

What are custom and delivery charges ?

Also how to order other brand products like akg, audeze etc?

You can calculate your shipping charges at their checkout page. Customs are always unpredictable and depends on your luck. Just keep another 30% of you product value with you, in case if you get unlucky. Don't know about akg but audeze has mentioned someone as their Indian re seller.

That's almost twice the product price. you chose FedEx or someone else? To whom you paid your customs, to the courier when they delivered to you?

post #203 of 4064

i ordered through fedex.

item cost + shipping  = Rs 9700

customs = Rs 2950

b'coz schiit send the items declared with commercial invoice.

but if u ordered through usps may be u can end up with little customs.

I got the Vali along with the Stax 007 mk1 HP and Stax 717amp. Hence I paid full duty.
