Yes. The Turbine Pro's sound tube is a standard size for dynamic-based canalphones, which means the T-400 and Tx-400 Complys will fit.

Just so you know, the Comply website provides a handy tip-matching calculator on its front page to answer compatibility questions like yours.

I just wanted to let you all know something. I bought an Insignia HD radio not too long ago that came with in ear buds. They are almost as nice as the Monster Turbine Pros. Excellent bass and clarity. The turbines are comparable to 20$ buds. Anyone who pays for them is either a collector, or just getting screwed. I blew 180$ on my turbines when they came out, biggest waste of money ever.

well, there definitely needs to be a review of that one

@ swbf2cheater: you must like apple earbuds
these turbine pros sound sweet i'm thinking about upgrading my turbines. but where i live westone 3 are cheaper, so im not sure.
shigzeo, in your turbine review you stated they are the best earphones for trance, are the turbine pros better?
thx

At the time, there wasn't a better bass-heavy dynamic earphone for trance. For the price, I still think that opinion holds up pretty well. The pro, however, is better - it is really good.

thanks for the info, what are the (few ) new earphones that've come out, that are better? and could you please do a few comparisons in your review, however brief they may be? looking forward to it.thx

I am not sure I would say better. The RE series from Head direct have more space and air, but much less bass presence. If you like that sound character, they are a good choice. Personally, I am addicted to the Turbine Pro bass which is thick and deep and fast. It is better than the Turbine, but at its price, I would expect it to be.

i listen mostly to more vocal-focused european electro and house, so vocal reproduction is pretty important to me. and what i particularly liked about the turbines was that the bass presence doesnt at all cover up the vocals, but i'd still like more vocal presence, so i turned to westones, but since these came up, i might just get them, since it seems like a logical upgrade from the original turbines. i'll wait for the reviews then.

The Pros improve the midrange and even the treble, while also providing deeper, faster, and more textured bass, all very appealing. I was expecting some improvement, but all summed up to be a very pleasant surprise. Very good value for what you get.

So I guess this is the impressions thread. OP: can you add to the title impressions or something so that we can build this up with lots of headfiers' experience. I am ready to publish review by Wednesday or so and I imagine a few others are too. Cheerrs.

shigzeo, we're looking forward to your review as always. Your comments here and teaser on TMA give a pretty good indication of what it will say, but I do enjoy what you write.

Question about the tips of the Pro model. Having owned the older MTB's are these the same tips in the Pro model? They look the smae, I ask because I remember reading somewhere about Monster designing a new tip?
These. Rock.

And I look forward to the new tips which Monster are indeed designing. The new supertips are (rubbish) because they are round like the other tips and as they don't compress as easily, they are harder to fit in the ears.

I really dig the new SuperTips (the gel-filled rubbery ones), but, to get a comfortable fit (relative to the normal tips not filled with gel), I have to go a size smaller.

The new foam SuperTips are also excellent, and at first I preferred them--but now I'm going back and forth between the two kinds.

Here I go again. yeah, they are good and block noise pretty well, but out of 5 people I met, 3 could not use the tips, even the small ones without pain or the earphone falling out. The round shape isn't very good. If it was tapered, it would fit almost any type of ear. I like the feel of them and wish they worked.
