how to distinguish versions of the cable? the worst thing is that they do not write the model name on the Jack, it says just! Whiplash Audio

Oh Gosod, the man of 663 questions (at the moment of writing this reply) ;)

Different Whiplash cables have different colors, wire shielding, wooden chocker, etc.  Plus, you can clearly see if it's 4 braided conductors vs 8 braided conductors.  I have tested and still have in my review collection many different cables from various manufactures, and have seen other stuff from $25 to $1k, and it's very rare for a manufacturer to put a model name or the wire material on the headphone plug, they just brand it with a company name.
