Hello Head-Fi,
I got a Squeezebox a while ago from another forum and did not end up using it very much because there is currently no solution for sending Foobar2000 output to a Squeezebox and I did not want to switch to the SlimCenter software.
It has the following mods:
-Output caps upgraded to Blackgate Type N, bypassed by Sonicap Gen II.
-Power caps on analog replaced with Blackgate Type N
-Headphone port removed
-KE DAC installed
-Cardas RCA Jacks installed
-OPAMP removed
-Old firmware version that has the proper signal phase (don't update the firmware).
The power supply is a stock unit with a Belden shielded cable, switchcraft plug, and upgraded Panasonic FC/FM output caps.
The remote control is also included and confirmed to work.
Cosmetically, there is a crack on the upper edge of the box, and both the coax and analog RCA jacks are a bit marked up. And as you can see in the picture, the modded power supply has capacitors sticking out.
The sound quality sounded good to me. I cannot comment on the effect of any of the mods because I never heard it before they were done - I didn't do any of them.
Total price $140 shipped CONUSA.
Total price w. Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router(1/2 antennas busted but works) $150 shipped CONUSA.

PM me with any questions. Thanks!
