Ordered mine back in may; Retailer told me they were held back due to cosmetic issues and they should ship any day (for the last 3 weeks ).
I'm getting used to it since I'm also waiting for the "it will ship when it ships" htc hero ...

Auditioned the Ed8s with the Phonitor a few weeks ago.
I wasn't impressed with the price and their look (yeeks)...I wouldn't be caught dead wearing them outdoors (they are supposed to made for outdoor/portables use).

But the sound...v.impressed indeed. Tightest bass I've heard on a pair of headphones.

If I hadn't bought a NOS pair of K1000s recently, I'd be snapping a pair of these up.

I did a phones+cash trade with SACD-man who is an Ultrasone dealer. The "problem" is not with him but with Ultrasone who keep promissing him that they will ship "next week". Latest I have heard from him is that they are actually now in transfer to him.

Got them yesterday; Strait out of the box they already sound amazing, compared to a fully burned in edition 9.
